Insight into Siglufjörður
The popular and prestigious television show Kiljan by Egill Helgason visited Siglufjörður in February 2011. A five-member team from the program met with Örlygur Kristfinnsson, Director of the Herring Era Museum.
"Scenes from a fishing village" was the theme and Örlygur gave a tour of the main historical sites discussed in his book of the same name.
For non-Icelandic speakers the video provides an excellent view of the town as well as of the Museum during this period.
